17th Sustainment Brigade
17th SB provides command and control for 3-7 sustainment of functional logistics battalions and assigned HR/FM companies. On order conducts theater distribution, supports redeployment operations and provides support to joint, interagency and multinational forces as directed. Be prepared to support civilian agencies.

1st 221st Armored Cavalry
The 1st Squadron, 221st Cavalry is currently Nevada's only combat arms unit. The squadron was originally organized as the 121st Coast Artillery Battalion. It was ordered into federal service for World War II. The squadron was absorbed into the Regular Army and some of its components saw action in the Pacific, participation in the Ryukyus Campaign. After World War II, the squadron served as Anti-Aircraft Artillery.

The Mission of the Medical Detachment is to organize, staff, equip, and train quality medical assets. To conduct tactical and stability support operations in support of worldwide United States Army requirements and State of Nevada emergency missions. The peacetime focus of the detachment is to train NVARNG medics in wartime medical skills needed during mobilization in support of the Army during both conflict and peacekeeping missions.
