Mission:

The Junior Enlisted Council is a proactive council adding value to ensure quality Soldiers are ready, trained, and proud to accomplish the roles and missions of the Nevada Army National Guard. The council’s charter was established to advise the Senior Enlisted Leader on enlisted force matters including, but not limited to morale and spirit de corps of the Nevada Army National Guard. The Senior Enlisted Leader tasks the council to examine issues and recommend policy changes affecting the readiness of the enlisted Soldiers. The council handles all issues brought forth by having a consensus. In the event an issue cannot be solved by consensus, the chairperson will pass it on to the Senior Enlisted Leader and explain why the issue could not be handled by consensus. To encourage the free flow of ideas and information, all deliberations at the Junior Enlisted Council sessions are non-biased.

Composition:

The council is composed of representatives from every unit of the Nevada Army National Guard.
